Furniture Care

Casual Living Worldwide outdoor products are designed for years of enjoyment in almost any type of outdoor setting. To maintain the beauty and strength of your furnishings, please take the following care and maintenance guidelines into consideration.

Frames. Be carfeul to never allow water to build up in frames, as this will cause corrosion and freeze amage in cold climates. Wash all frames with a solution of mild soap and water. Rinse with clean water and dry with a soft, absorbent cloth towel. For maximum protection against UV rays and/or salty air, frames can be treated with a liquid wax.

Fabrics. If your set includes cushions, slings and/or an umbrella, clean by hand with a solution of mild soap and water and rinse with water. (Never machine-wash cushions, sings or umbrella covers as this will result in shrinkage or damage.) After cleaning cushions, tip on end and allow to drip-dry.

Please note: Never use a commercial or home dryer to tumble-dry fabric goods. Also, do not use bleach or solvents to clean any product as this will void the warranty.

ALTERNATIVE TABLETOP CARE

Durability. Your stone table is functional and practical, but requires a reasonable amount of care to protect it against discolorations, staining and marring.

Maintenance. We recommend that you apply a stone sealer twice a year. Sealing is the most important thing you can do for your stone tabletop. Even if your stone tabletop has been sealed, accidental spills need to be cleaned immediately to prevent staining or damage to the stone. The table requires regular wiping with water or occasionally with mild soapy water. Do not use vinegar, cleaners that contain acid, abrasive cleaners or furniture polish. Do not use a high-pressure washer. We suggest that you blot up spills immediately, dust with an untreated cloth, use coasters or placemats when dining, keep planters off the surface, keep covered when outdoors and not in use, and clean thoroughly with a stone cleaner and reapply stone sealer twice a year. There are a variety of products available to clean, protect and seal through any hardware store or building supply store. For the best long-term maintenance, store the top in a dry location during the off season and do not rest on its side.
